Intersection and the Global Education Center present a concert featuring the music of Cuban composers Leo Brouwer, Tania León and Ileana Perez-Velásquez. The program will include the world premiere of a new guitar concerto by Leo Brouwer featuring Carlos Barbosa Lima on guitar, and Cuban and Latin drumming presented by Global. The program will connect with Intersection’s initiative LISTEN, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment and lifting up the voices of women.
